12/18/2016: I came across gifting that would be both good and perfect today. I was curious about the definitions thereof. So looked at the following and they turned out to be similar if not the same definitions.
James 1: 17
“Every good”
Virtuous, Right, Commendable, Benevolent, Competent, Skillful.
“Every perfect”
Virtuous, Right, Commendable, Kind, Benevolent, Competent, Skillful.
King James Bible
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
International Standard Version
Every generous act of giving and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father who made the heavenly lights, in whom there is no inconsistency or shifting shadow.
