10/14/12 A review of the results on players using the grooved putter grip showed all did well. If they had it on for some time, then they continued to putt well. If they put it on their putter for the first time, their putting stats were better than their season average to date.
For instance, one player had total putts of 29.78 for 35th on year to date and last week was 29 for tie for 18th in the event. Same player has had 1.8 putts when green hit in regulation this year for tie for 67st. Last week he was 1.784 and tied for 31st in the event.
The difference in decimal points in the statistics shows up as a major difference in position rating, but more importantly huge difference on the money list.
