6/28/12  This week’s Champion’s Tour was at Fox Chapel Golf Club, just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.  My purpose in attending was to lend putting instruction and promote the Synapse grooved golf grip.  This is an old golf course in a beautiful setting, but the practice green was continuous with the 18 green and very small.  Instruction was very limited due to the crowd, but I did help some players at their request.

This was the best week so far with interest in the groove putting grips.  The word of Padraig Harrington’s success the last four weeks has prompted the interest as well as Jeff Sluman’s use of the long putter grip.  I handed out over 30 grips at player’s personal request.  Some just want to try it next week, but Tom Kite joined the players putting the l0ng putter grip in play.  Tom Purtzer put the standard iron grip on his 52 degree wedge for competition.

Our new driver/iron grip which is 54 grams and softer 50 durometer appears to the just the right feel for the tour players.  It will be listed on web site in next week. www.PrescriptionGolf.com
