I am in Benton Harbor, MI for PGA Champion Tour event. The fun thing was one of the club pro who gained competitive entry is Ron Beurmann. He lived in my neighborhood many years ago in Okemos, MI. I operated upon his broken elbow and placed two pins when he was a boy. The other was saying hello to Jack Nicklaus who designed the golf course here at Harbor Shores. He was here for a speaking engagement. I operated upon his wife many years ago. He asked what I was doing at a golf event. I told him I had some inventions related to golf. He commented, “I cannot image they are as good as the ones you did for arthroscopy”.
I have many players wanting the putter grips after learning how well Padraig Harrington did last week. I gave out twenty and had to get more for tomorrow as I have many requests. As gave Kite, Sluman and Langer long putter grips at their requests. Ollie Browne plans to put the standard grip into play this week.
