Data Driven?
4/23/2020: “Everything is data driven.” However we have no data on the future. What we have from health care modeling has not been very accurate. So much for data! 🙂

4/14/2020: It appears that the prevailing government principle that it is possible to borrow oneself out of debt. Will they be suspending the law of gravity?
Yesterday, today and again tomorrow the government, business and individuals have increasing debt. More debt tomorrow than today and on and on. How does that work?
https://www.stamfordadvocate.com/news/article/Record-government-and-corporate-debt-risks-15210446.php
The government can print the money. They can tax or allow for inflation.
Most likely there will be inflation for business and individuals and increased taxation. Will we need wheelbarrows instead of wallets as in Germany years ago to go shopping?
A forgotten ancient proverb says “Owe no one anything but to love them!”

The son is a powerful energy source.
Romans 8: 11: But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Notice the “but if”.
4/4/2020:
This lesson was personal for me. It may be for you as well.
Christians are praying for God to do something about the coronavirus. The presumption seems reasonable that only God could intervein. However, nothing seems to be happening. So, we pray more frequently and fervently. God returns with the response, “it is up to you”. How could that be? “I already have told you how to achieve healing.” When was the method given and where is documented?
2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Look at this carefully for the conditions.
If my people, which are called by my name (Christians in this dispensation; that is me)
Do what? shall humble themselves (no pride) and pray (intercede) and seek my face (intimate relationship and no faking it)
and turn from their wicked ways (oops). I thought we had to get the non-believers to change their ways to have things improve. No, it is me and maybe you. Yes, it is me. I have complied.
The above is necessary to get a hearing and a response. then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We are to go about it as instructed in Romans 12: 1-3.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (It is not unreasonable.)
And be not conformed to this world (No conformity to the ways of the world) but be ye transformed (Changed and How?) by the renewing of your mind, (What is that going to prove?) that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Further instruction is point-on for most of us) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
That takes me back to the first word of instruction to get change started; humbling myself.
3/16/2020: This is interesting read on the coronavirus origin and a woman who has studied these viruses for a long time.

3/12/2002: The FDA has warned Purell to stop marketing their products suggesting they are effective against virus. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/28/health/purell-fda-ebola-virus.html
That does not mean that the alcohol in Purell will not kill virus, including coronavirus. The GOJO company, owner of Purell has not made the necessary FDA application supporting the effectiveness against any virus and therefore cannot market it for those uses. That does not mean that Purell’s alcohol would not work against the coronavirus, they just cannot label it as such under the FDA law.
However, alcohol is an effective hand sanitizer against bacteria and virus. The only problem is that there is no long lasting anti-microbial effect.
The following is quoted from: https://www.factcheck.org/2020/03/contrary-to-false-posts-sanitizer-helpful-against-coronavirus/
“There is sound scientific basis for the effectiveness of alcohol-based hand-sanitizers for inactivation of commonly transmitted bacteria and viruses, especially lipid-enveloped viruses like coronaviruses,” Benhur Lee, a professor of microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, told us in an email. “Alcohol-based hand-sanitizers DO work against coronaviruses; this is what is universally recommended by hospital infection control to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by SARS0CoV-2. However, alcohol-based hand-sanitizers complement but do not replace proper hand-washing with soap and water.”
Lee also pointed us to a recent Smithsonian Magazine article, citing multiple sources and scientific papers, that discusses the effectiveness of hand sanitizers. That article, citing Lee, noted that “while soap physically dismantles the envelope using brute force, alcohol changes the envelope’s chemical properties, making it less stable and more permeable to the outside world.”
The article continued: “Alcohol also can penetrate deep into the pathogen’s interior, wreaking havoc on proteins throughout the virus. (Importantly, not all viruses come with outer envelopes. Those that don’t, like the viruses that cause HPV and polio, won’t be susceptible to soap, and to some extent alcohol, in the same way.)”
“Experts recommend working the sanitizer fully over both hands until completely dry.”
In addition, it is best to use a sanitizer that has a reagent that coats the skin and has a longer lasting effect. For instance, Zoono lasts for 24 hours on the human hands. www.zoonousa.com
12/1/2019: CBD has little data supporting anything. The marketing promotions out weigh the supporting evidence.
Take a look at https://www.healio.com/primary-care/pain-management/news/online/%7B0a67a133-952a-4be1-a52a-526c5ecdaed5%7D/guide-emphasizes-facts-not-falsehoods-about-cbd-use.
My first look at a review leaves much to be learned yet.
